ELKHORN LODGE WEDDINGS INFORMATION:
 
Indoor Weddings:
Generally the decision of the location of a indoor wedding is based on the size of the wedding party. Smaller weddings (up to 50 people) have had their weddings in the Main Lodge Hunt Room or the Central Lobby; in these instances we arrange the seating based on the desires of the wedding party. Larger wedding ceremonies generally have their weddings in the Main Lodge Ballroom (75 seating capacity) or the Dining Room (250 seating capacity). Although most of our wedding parties select among our various outdoor locations for the wedding ceremony, the indoor wedding ceremony locations are important considerations to serve as a back-up should the weather prohibit the outdoor ceremony (rain, high winds, etc.).

Outdoor Weddings:
Outdoor wedding sites include the Elkhorn Mountain Summit, the Main Lodge Courtyard, locations around or near the Fall River, the Huck Finn Pavilion and the Lodge Front Courtyard. Other smaller weddings have been held in numerous other locations including the Coach House Deck (where there is a great backdrop of Man Mountain).

Elkhorn Mountain Summit:
This location is our most popular, where ceremonies have ranged from a very formal ceremony, accompanied by a string quartet; to a Western wedding where the bride on horseback towed the groom before the Minister by lasso. The Summit offers some of Colorado’s most beautiful mountains in the background for the ceremony.
