Peregrin Road:
"Peregrin Road" began as a dream in the hearts of co-founders Matt Schofield and Brett Wilson. Brett, (acoustic guitars, vocals, mandolin, recorder), from the East coast, (Maryland/Washington D.C./Nashville) and Matt, (Bass, guitars, ukulele), the Westerner, (Chicago/L.A.), converged from the two coasts and met in Colorado where the wild beauty of the Rocky Mountains took root in their veins. It was here that the two formed a friendship and Peregrin Road was born.

The eclectic acoustic foursome known as Peregrin Road began as a dream in the hearts of co-founders Matt Schofield and Brett Wilson. In the Fall of 2005, while backing up singer/songwriter, Jim Winder in concert, acoustic magic happened! "It was as if someone had charged the air with millions of tiny particles of acoustic energy!" exclaims Brett. "You could feel the intensity in the silences between the notes and Matt and I just looked at each other and knew that something special was about to take place!"

They soon joined by Native Coloradan, Kent Adamson on Bass, Drums and Percussion as well as Alabama born violin extraordinaire, Rex Bolan. Based in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Peregrin Road is about the journey of life. It’s about love, laughter and learning the Art of Slowing Down and breathing in this gift we call life with all the passion, focus, purpose and determination the soul has to offer.

Peregrin Road blends smooth guitars, mandolin, violin, ukulele, bass and recorder supported by rich harmonies, soaring vocals and insightful lyrics, inspired by the vastness and stark beauty of their beloved backyard Colorado Rocky Mountains."
