ELKHORN LODGE BALLROOM AND DANCING INFORMATION:
 
The Elkhorn Lodge & Guest Ranch Ballroom, when constructed, was the first square dance hall in the Estes Park area. It faces the Main Lodge Courtyard and we frequently have:

1) Smaller receptions, specially those with specific theme.
2) Larger receptions where the food in served in the Courtyard and the Ballroom is used for dancing. The Elkhorn Lodge & Guest Ranch Ballroom is also used for seminars and meetings where hors d'oeuvres are served.

The Ballroom has railroad springs underneath the Ballroom floor. When you enter the Ballroom, you will see that the floor is slightly bowed due to the heavy springs. But once, the floor is filled with people having a great time dancing, you will feel the springs take effect and you will experience dancing like you never danced before!
